Jacquel Rassenworth on “After Earth”

Another Earth

I’m still out sick, but I did manage to catch the premiere of the movie “After Earth“, which is another sci-fi adventure movie. (What? Has 2013 become the year of the sci-fi movies?)

Anyway, I did enjoy the movie, even though I still hate Will Smith for doing Men in Black III (was that film even necessary?) and I believe that Jaden Smith has the potential to be the next biggest action film star.

Plus, what would happen if we return to Earth AFTER the world has ended? Who knows?

Epic Movie

Well, I had been very sick with the stomach flu all weekend, and I missed the Epic movie premiere. So I had to skip school and watch the movie. (There’s two weeks left of school)

My review: This is a cartoon that is worth watching, unlike the last few animated feature films that I have seen.

Also, I am going to be writing a few essays on Disney-made cartoons and my opinions on those movies. And I will say this now, I will be as cruelly honest as the Movie-Watching Trio were during their review of Disney-made cartoons.

Watch out, Disney, I’m coming for you!

Jacquel Rassenworth’s Memorial Day blog post

As we all know, today is Memorial Day, a day of remembrance. While my real-life counterpart had family members who fought in the wars, I had some who died fighting, mainly in World War II and Vietnam. Those who died knew that they were fighting for freedom, not just for themselves, but for everyone.

I had some cousins who had gone to fight in Iraq and Afghanistan and they had friends who died fighting for freedom. They know what the price of freedom is.

May we never take the sacrifice of our armed forces in vain.

I’ll be back with another blog post.

I Just Remembered Something…

In 1982, there was a movie called Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan with Ricardo Montalban as Khan. And When Kirk got frustrated, he said one thing that everyone now remembers:

“KKKKKKKAAAAAAHHHHHHNNNNNNN!!!!!!”

Now we have the movie Star Trek: Into Darkness and once again, HE shows up.

It’s Khan.

This time, he’s being played by Benedict Cumberbatch.

Now I have no choice but to repeat the same line as Kirk did in complete frustration:

“KKKKKKKAAAAAAHHHHHHNNNNNNN!!!!!!”

YAY! After four years of waiting, the new Star Trek movie is out in theaters. I decided to skip bedtime and watch the movie. (I’m going to get so much crap for this, but who cares?)

Anyway, the movie was great, Kirk was being his usual self, and I now hate Benedict Cumberbatch‘s character as much as I hate Khan.

I order you to drop everything and watch this movie. (Plus, you need to email J.J. Abrams and tell him to stick with Star Trek and avoid the abomination known as Star Wars)

Jacquel Rassenworth on “The Green Hill Manor Mystery”

Well, I have been given the pleasure of reviewing my alter ego Claire Violet Thorpe’s newest book, which is called “The Green Hill Manor Mystery”. And that story is based off some other story that she had written, which is known as “The Teen Rebels“.

Well, to be honest, I’m going to be as brutal as I can be, and then I’m going to force you to buy her book, because that’s how I roll.

First off, there’s very little mention of ME in this story. This really ticks me off to the extreme. I’m Jacquel Rassenworth, the internet meme queen, not some useless non-entity! Plus, Claire had the nerve to make me as some fictional character in the story! Not cool, Claire! Not cool!

Also, they are talking about my now-canceled story “Jacquel Rassenworth Reborn” like it’s a fake story. I totally wish that Claire could have invented a new character and story line for the book, as putting me in the story and me not being in the story is a stupid idea.

Plus, haven’t those kids ever heard of CALLING THE POLICE??? Geez, what is this, Pretty Little Liars, Part II??? And calling the kids the Teen Rebels is just a rip-off of the original story. I mean, do we see the kids actually rebelling against authority? NO! The original Teen Tebels rejected the lifestyle of the typical American teenager because (to them) that lifestyle was stupid. But what we have here is crap! We’ve got bullying/child abuse, teen pregnancy, peer pressure/intimidation and some kid pulling a Gossip Girl on us. How long is this going to last?

Therefore, I implore you all to go to Amazon, Kobo books, Barnes & Noble, Smashwords, and Apple Books and buy the first book in the series, aptly titled “The Summer of Our Discontent“. Do it today…I mean, right now! It’s only  5.99, so hurry up and buy the book; season 2 is coming.

Once again, go buy the book. That is all.

Jacquel Rassenworth on Mother’s Day

Well, just because my mother is dead doesn’t mean that I can’t celebrate, right?

Anyway, I’m wondering about what would have happened had she still lived. She wouldn’t have approved of dad’s decision to send me to Forks. She also would have forced me to befriend other people who were not Maddy, Scott, and Shara. I’m sure that she would have restricted the amount of time I spend looking at memes and pictures that mess up your head.

Besides, what else are mothers for?

Anyway, enjoy this special day with your mother and I’ll be back tomorrow.

Well, I went to see the movieThe Great Gatsby” last night and I regret to say that I was a bit disappointed with the movie. The movie was based on the book by F. Scott Fitzgerald and judging by the difficulty that I had doing the schoolwork based on the book, I had a hard time watching the movie. Sure it looks good, but if the movie has a story in it that I don’t understand, then I can’t enjoy it.

If you watched this movie, let me know what you think of it.

A few weeks ago, I ranted on my Tumblr blog that I found out that my mother Katelyn wasn’t Mexican or even Hispanic. I felt betrayed by the people who I trusted and I wanted to wish harm upon her mother.

But that was then, this is now.

Well, before I get started on that subject, I think it’s time for me to step back and plan to stay home today because the Quintillia family won’t be inviting me to this year’s Cinco de Mayo party due to my rant on Tumblr. Well, that’s a disappointment, seeing that Moses is the only one going.

Anyway, I’m going to cut you loose and work our my issues. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I want to let you all know that I do not like Star Wars at all. To me, the story felt like a bad piece of science fiction and I’m not that big on science fiction.

But I do like Star Trek better.

So, don’t tell me “may the Force be with you” because I don’t believe in the Force. I only believe in God.

Thank you for your cooperation.
