Can you believe that this is already the end of March?
Well, I’m pretty upset because I just realized that I have only a few months left until I’m done with high school for good. I can’t wait to get back to San Francisco.
But while everyone else is talkin college and such, I can only think about going back home and possibly seeing Shar, since her family is planning to move to Fresno after Shar graduates from her school. She’s going off to UC Fresno (to study, well, I forgot what she’s going for).
Anyway April is coming soon, and I hope to catch up with all my schoolwork so that I can participate in the senior activities that are at the school.
See you all tomorrow.
Noah’s Ark (1999 film) (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
OK, so we have a movie coming out today and from the looks of things, it’s gonna be big.
Just how big will the movie be? Let’s recap here:
- When God sees that the world is full of evil, He decides to pull the plug on life and start over.
- Enter Noah, who is good despite the wicked men surrounding him.
- God takes Noah aside and tells him to build an ark and take 2 of every animal living on earth, plus his entire family. Despite being mocked by his neighbors, Noah does what he is told.
- Of course, when the Great Flood happens, Noah and his family are saved because they did what they were told. But the rest of humanity pays for their sinful ways with their own lives.
Remember, kids, it pays to do what God says.
Now watch the movie; I COMMAND YOU!!!

The Muppets Take Manhattan (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
Last night, the family dragged me to the movies to see the Muppets: Most Wanted, but for some strange reason, I fell asleep during the movie and was almost left behind.
Well, that was humiliating.
Plus, none of my relatives know how to actually watch a movie, which is a shame when you think about it. I prefer to see movies with people who love to watch movies.
I’m sorry if I cannot give out a review of this movie right now; I’m trying to recover from my humiliating ordeal. I’ll be back with a review later.
Preparing for Divergent (Photo credit: claireviolet82)
I take it that you missed me, didn’t you?
Well, I’m back and I’m ready to talk about the new hit movie Divergent, which comes out in theaters last night. This time, I made sure to actually READ the book before seeing the movie.
Anyway, here’s the rundown:
In a Chicago that was destroyed in a war, the city’s population is divided into four factions. On a certain day, teenagers are forced to choose which faction they will spend their lives in; the move inherently divides families and friends. A girl is found to be Divergent, which means that she can’t easily be sorted into the factions that are part of the city. She later rebels against the government when the truth behind the factions is revealed.
Ok, I’m off to see the movie this afternoon, when Shara comes to Forks for a class trip.

I’m not a “spring” person, and I know that given my history with allergies, I’m going to be blowing my stack harder than Mount St. Helens did in 1980.
Yeah. I don’t like spring at all.
Now you know.
See you tomorrow.
Pretty Little Liars (TV series) (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
Hello, this is Jacquel’s friend Maddy Haroldson, and I’m blogging in her place, since she’s not going to be here to talk about the Pretty Little Liars finale.
Anyway, I saw the episode and I have to say that I’m even more confused as ever. I mean, why on earth would Ali’s mom bury her alive? What mother does that to her own kid? Let’s get real here, parents.
Also, we finally get to see part of what happened the night that Ali vanished, and all I have to say is that Mona is going the right way for a total smackdown with Ali. I mean, she runs Hanna over with her car. For someone who’s supposed to be “tight” with Hanna, I don’t think that she’s a good friend.
Plus, she’s still “A“. There’s no doubt about that.
Also, why did they have to shoot Ezra??? That was so unexpected!!! Let the guy live and redeem himself. Honestly, he really needs to stay away from teenaged girls. Aren’t Ali and Aria enough???
Well, if I were Jacquel, I would have given up on the show a long time ago. But that’s her opinion. I myself stopped watching it after Season 3 ended.
This is a photograph of the Chicago River dyed green for the St. Patrick’s Day celebration. On the left is Wacker Drive, where it changes from three to two levels. Crossing the river is Michigan Avenue’s double-decker bridge. This picture was taken from the Columbus Drive bridge. The view faces west. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
Ok, so today is St. Patrick’s Day and all I can say is that I really don’t understand why everyone’s dressed in green today. (Of course I had to fight off scores of people who tried to pinch me because I wasn’t wearing green today; LOOK PEOPLE, I HAVE GREEN EYES!! YOUR ARGUMENT IS INVALID!!!)
Now I have to deal with trying to recover from my SXSW trip and such. Will I NEVER get a real day off??
Well, I’m out. I’ll be back on Firday, when I have fully recovered from SXSW.
Well, once again, I am a star in a story that takes place on a day where a certain Roman dictator forgot to listen to everyone who warned him about going out on March 15th. Well, let’s just say that he was stabbed in the back by those who trusted him and the rest was history.
Anyway, here’s the story that I’ve been assigned to:
Jacquel Rassenworth is trapped in the world of “Divergent“
Interesting. So now I’m in the world of Divergent. This is great. Not only am i stuck in the Hunger Games, but now I’m in Divergent.
Yeah, this shall be fun.
Well, I’m out. Gotta go do more fun things, since I’m still at SXSW.
Just as I have barely begun to recover from the Sochi Olympics, my computer class has decided that we would be going to South By Southwest, a technological convention that takes place in the Southwest United States. Mainly in Austin, Texas.
You can guess how happy I am about this right now.
This two-week fest celebrates all that technology has to offer and it runs from March 7-16, 2014.
So what will I see? Everything from movies to music to stuff that you thought you could only see on the Internet. (I’m getting exhausted just thinkingg about it!) Plus, I know that there are millions of people who are just wanting to meet me and I can’t let them down.
So, I’m off. I’ll be popping in and out periodically, but other than that, I’ll be back on March 17, 2014.
Pretty Little Liars (book) (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
Well, I’m shocked that something has blown up on “Pretty Little Liars” and to be honest, this story makes a ton of sense:
Ali‘s mom is possibly the villain in this story.
Sure, we’ve had Mona (and Toby, and Caleb, and Spencer, and Jenna), but the fact that Mrs. Dilaurentis could possibly be the bad “A” is kind of scary, when you think about it.
The jury is in on this one.
But the real controversial theme of this blog is the fact that ARIA could be “A”.
Let that sink in for a second.
Aria could be the bad guy.
How is this even possible?
Seeing as the other girls had bad things happen to them (such as Spencer ending up at Radley, Hanna being run over, and Emily developing an ulcer), nothing bad really helped to Aria (excluding the fact that she was almost tossed off a moving train). Did this mean that SHE was the one being the cyberstalking???
The verdict isn’t yet made on this theory, yet.
