Jacquel Rassenworth on Stan Lee

Well, I guess even heroes die.

Today, I just received the news that Stan Lee, the guy in charge of Marvel Comics and responsible for creating many of those comic book characters that you like, such as Spider Man, the Avengers, the X-Men, and Black Panther, had died.

Right now, I’m feeling crushed, and you should all know why. I have spoken about many Marvel movie on this particular blog, and I’m still pretty mad about what happened in Infinity War.

But that’s a whole different story.

I already know that so many of you who are reading this blog are feeling the pain of losing such a great guy, so if you want to express your feelings, please comment down below.

I will provide a list of every Marvel movie I wrote about later on.

As Stan Lee once said, “Excelsior“.

Jacquel Rassenworth on Barbara Bush

Well, I usually don’t like doing things like this, but I have no choice.

Last night, I had fallen asleep (because I had spent Monday recovering from Coachella) and when I woke up, I found out on Twitter that former First Lady Barbara Bush had recently died.

This makes me sad.

As we all know, Barbara Bush was the wife of George H. W. Bush and the mother of George W. Bush, both of whom became president of the United States during the years 1989-2009. (Excluding 1993-2001, when Bill Clinton was president.) But I know she did more than that, especially as far as her literacy campaign was concerned.

I feel that I must say a prayer for the Bush family in their time of grief, and you should say a prayer too.

Jacquel Rassenworth on the 20th Anniversary of the Death of Princess Diana

I can’t believe this is happening. I really can’t believe it. But it’s happening anyway, so what can I do about it?

Believe it or not, everyone, it’s been 20 years since Princess Diana died in a horrible car accident in Paris, France.

Unfortunately, I cannot recall where I was on that day, seeing as I was a baby when it happened. But my dad could tell you that he was about 7 years old when he watched the wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana on TV.

To this day, I still despise Prince Charles for obvious reasons. I shutter to think about what his parents went through all the years he was an idiot.

But that’s not what this blog post is about.

Before I go any further, I sometimes can’t help but wonder what Diana would be doing right now when she learns that her sons are settling down and building families. I guess we’ll never know, as she never should’ve died in that accident in the first place.

Oh crap. Now I have the sads.

Jacquel Rassenworth does Comic Con…again!

Hello, and welcome to the wonderful world that is Comic-Con. I (as in your #1 friendly meme master) will take you on a journey to explore what's coming up in the world of fandom.

And here are some of the things you'll love as this year rolls by:

  1. Stranger Things 2
  2. The actor who will play the doctor in "Doctor Who", but I'll get back to that later.
  3. Game of Thrones season 7, episodes 2 and 3.
  4. Star Trek Discovery.
  5. The superhero movies that I'm dying to see, such as Justice League, Infinity War, and Black Panther.

I was going to dress up for Comic-Con this year, but I ran out of time due to my other activities. So I had to buy a Disney Descendants t-shirt from Hot Topic. And I haven't watched the show…yet.

Yeah, that's really embarrassing.

Anyway, thanks for reading this blog post and I'll see you on the internet.

Jacquel Rassenworth on Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol 2

Well, this just got interesting.

So, last night, I go to watch Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol 2 and guess what? Nobody else went to the movies with me! I’ll show them who’s the boss when they get back. Nobody turns down a movie invitation from Jacquel Rassenworth. NOBODY!

With that out of the way, lets just say that because of this movie, I’m more than ready for Avengers: Infinity Wars. There’s no other way for me to say it. When all ghe heores show up to take down Thanos, I swear that I will cheer along with the rest of the world. Isn’t that great?

Oh, and I have to buy the new soundtrack to the movie soon.

Anyway, I gotta call this one and force Shar and Maddy to get off their butts and watch Guardians of thr Galaxy with me. And I’m not taking “no” for an answer either!

Jacquel Rassenworth does SXSW 2017

Once again, guess where I am?

In Texas, doing the South by Southwest tour.

Why am I doing this when I could be hitting the beach and doing other things? Because unlike the other people I know, I’m notorious for chasing after the newest movies and video games. Plus, I admit that I didn’t participate in a lot of the other activities in school because I was either doing my memes and roleplaying, plus there’s the matter of my YouTube videos, so there you have it.

But being in Texas wasn’t all fun and games, as the weather was an unbearable little punk. Dare I say it?

I don’t want to move to Texas at all, not if it means I have to deal with this weather all the time.
Anyway, I’m just glad to be away from those people who drive me nuts with their liberal stupidity. I swear, if anyone shoves one more pamphlet in my face, I’m going to lose my mind! I don’t have time for anyone’s crap!

Anyway, I’ll see you when I get back to Fresno.

Jacquel Rassenworth on John Hurt

Yesterday, Maddy emailed me with the news that John Hurt had just died. This makes me sad, as I’ve seen him as War Doctor in Doctor Who and watched him die many times in various movies. (He eve died in Spaceballs, in case you forgot!)
And now that he’s gone, I’m sure that 2017 will be far worse than 2016.

Jacquel Rassenworth on Mary Tyler Moore

Well, it was too good to be true.

This morning, I found out that Mary Tyler Moore had died. It’s a sad day for everyone, especially after I wrote a blog post about her late second husband, Grant Tinker.

In case you forgot, Mary was the star of the hit TV show “The Mary Tyler Moore” show. Also, she and Grant founded the MTM production Company, in which the logo was a tiny meowing baby cat. And you already know which shows she was responsible for.

Anyway, if you’re feeling sad, just post your comments below.
